Glenn Ford's reincarnation

REINCARNATION

Hollywood actor Glenn Ford, who died in August 2006, may be back, says the London Sunday Telegraph.

The actor was a firm believer in reincarnation. Once, under hypnosis, he recalled five previous lives - including one as a Christian martyr eaten by a lion and another as a French cavalryman under Louis XIV.

He was able to describe his life in the cavalry in fluent French, despite only ever having learnt the basics. And when tapes of the session were sent to the University of California, linguists discovered that he had been speaking a Parisian dialect of the 17th century, according to reports.

I’m prepared to believe almost anything concerning hypnotism and ESP, because I’ve seen its effects personally and up-close. Reincarnation could be real too, I suppose, but belief in it seems to be based purely on speculation, faith and wishful thinking at this stage. Yet it is always intriguing.

What intrigues me in this case is how linguists determined that 17th century Parisians spoke the same French as Glenn Ford, let alone how he knew he‘d been eaten by a lion.

Did the lion become Glenn Ford?

Only asking.

For many of us who seek the truth, questioning faith in search of reality is an unfortunate necessity.
